Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout each shift
- Capability to bend, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds
- Comfortable with face-to-face interactions with crew and customers
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled at multitasking and maintaining a positive demeanor under pressure
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, stopping, and overhead reaching
- Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to adhere to sanitation and safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is beneficial but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Basic math skills for handling register transactions
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and late evenings
Job Duties
- Interacts with team members, customers, and vendors using DYNE's core values
- Delivers unparalleled hospitality to each customer that visits the cafe
- Prepares ingredients for food and smoothies
- Assembles and serves fresh food and smoothies prepared to Tropical Smoothie Cafe's standards
- Uses sanitation practices to handle and prepare food
- Sets up and monitors food and smoothie work stations
- Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms, and other areas in the cafe
- Operates the register including taking customer orders, handling cash accurately, and managing the drawer
- Follows all safety and security policies set by the brand
- Performs any additional tasks necessary to run the cafe
