Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education, business, human services or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years related experience providing leadership for programs and services related to student retention and success
- Experience in budget management, event development and implementation, and data collection and analysis
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be insurable under the district’s standard insurance policy terms
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Ability to travel quarterly within the district and overnight annually for grant purposes
- Eligible to work legally in the United States

- Preferred master’s degree in education, business, human services or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in grant management, student support services, and/or program evaluation
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and student information management systems
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across differences in background and experience
Job Duties
- Administer the TRIO SSS grant in accordance with U.S. Department of Education regulations
- Ensure all services and activities align with the program's mission to improve GPA, persistence, credential completion, and transfer rates
- Prepare and submit required documentation, including Annual Performance Reports (APR) and grant renewal applications
- Lead the development and implementation of proven strategies to support 140 eligible students annually
- Manage a caseload of 40 students for direct services
- Collaborate with support services including advising, tutoring, mentoring, financial empowerment, and career exploration
- Supervise TRIO staff and foster a culture of excellence and student advocacy using coaching practices
- Track key performance indicators and use data to evaluate program effectiveness and guide continuous improvement
- Contribute to the promotion of TRIO SSS across campus and in the community to increase awareness and engagement
