Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the bar and restaurant areas
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds unassisted
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in a supervisory or management role within the bar or hospitality industry
- Strong working knowledge of bar operations, inventory management, and beverage service standards
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and customer service skills
- Experience with crafting cocktails, wine and spirit knowledge, and staff training
- Familiarity with POS systems, bar inventory software, and related technology
- TIPs Certification or equivalent in responsible alcohol service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
Job Duties
- Support the Restaurant Manager by overseeing bar operations for both the lobby and restaurant service areas
- Assist with daily bar procedures including opening, losing, restocking, and cleanliness of all bar spaces and storage areas
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards
- Assist in staff supervision including hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching bartenders and servers
- Help develop and maintain a strong beverage program by contributing to menu updates and specialty cocktail creation
- Ensure team adherence to recipes, portion standards, and presentation expectations
- Provide exceptional guest service and resolve customer concerns or complaints professionally and promptly
- Monitor and control inventory levels, waste, and labor to stay within budget parameters
- Stay current with industry trends and incorporate creative and relevant offerings
- Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative team environment
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
