Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Dental reception experience
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow
  • Ability to reliably commute to the office location in New Milford, CT
  • Desire to become part of our family-oriented team and support our mission to deliver the best patient experience possible
  • Ability to work within current office hours including up to two evenings per week and two Saturdays per month

  • Dental reception experience

  • Experience with Dentrix Ascend software preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet and check in patients
  • Handle heavy phone volume
  • Schedule appointments for doctors and hygienists
  • Act as a liaison between patients and doctors
  • Enter patient treatment plans
  • Discuss treatment needs with patients and make financial arrangements
  • Estimate, collect, and post patient payments
  • Follow up on patients with unscheduled treatment needed
  • Perform general office duties such as printing, faxing, and computer data entry
