Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds regularly and push individuals who weigh up to 200 pounds in wheelchairs
- must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- and talk and hear
- must be able to stay awake for the entire shift
- must pass a background check and drug screen
- must comply with substance-free workplace policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in food service or dietary operations is a plus
- ability to follow detailed instructions and health safety protocols
- strong communication skills
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Prepare food for residents according to specified textures and portion sizes
- prepare formula for residents
- maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work area
- operate and maintain dish machine, including washing pots and pans and managing supplies
