Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four year accredited institution as per USDA guidelines
  • Multi-unit/multi-site leadership experience in contract food management or large scale food service operations
  • Ability to demonstrate Aramark's value to clients, customers, and employees
  • Strong financial acumen in a profit/loss environment across multiple units/sites
  • Experience leading large teams to deliver exceptional service
  • Focus on business growth and retention
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and service excellence
  • Ability to coach and mentor employees
  • Knowledge of operational standards and compliance requirements

Job Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited institution per USDA guidelines
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in K12/student nutrition environment preferred
  • Proven leadership experience of 5-10 years including P&L responsibility within food and beverage industries
  • Demonstrated leadership skills encompassing management practices, business judgment, and client/consumer interaction
  • Ability to hire, assess, develop, and grow talent effectively
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills across all organizational levels
  • Proven success in a repeatable business model including change and turnaround leadership
  • Advanced degree in business or related field preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide overall vision, planning, direction, and control to assigned units across a large geographic district
  • Execute food and nutrition programs in K12 school districts focusing on growth, cost, productivity, and financial commitments
  • Lead and manage large teams across the district to deliver exceptional dining experiences
  • Establish ownership and accountability for operational management and financial performance of multiple accounts and units
  • Model leadership behaviors and ensure safety, quality, and service excellence
  • Coach, mentor, and develop employees, identifying top talent and promoting team growth
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and support new business and retention activities
  • Manage financial performance including revenue growth, cost control, and budget adherence using Aramark systems
  • Lead productivity initiatives and apply corporate management agendas for labor and financial initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, wage, and hour policies and maintain sanitation standards
