Job Requirements

  • associate degree in physical therapy from an accredited educational program
  • active state license required to start the assignment
  • BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC
  • availability to start on 03/09/2026
  • willingness to work 40 hours per week on 8-hour shifts
  • ability to travel and work in Pasco, Washington

Job Qualifications

  • associate degree in physical therapy from an accredited educational program
  • active state license to practice as a physical therapy assistant
  • basic life support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced skilled nursing facility setting

Job Duties

  • assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility
  • implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
  • monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes
  • educate patients and families on therapy techniques and safety
  • collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
  • maintain therapy equipment and ensure a safe treatment environment
  • adhere to facility policies and regulatory standards
