Job Requirements
- associate degree in physical therapy from an accredited educational program
- active state license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC
- availability to start on 03/09/2026
- willingness to work 40 hours per week on 8-hour shifts
- ability to travel and work in Pasco, Washington
Job Qualifications
- associate degree in physical therapy from an accredited educational program
- active state license to practice as a physical therapy assistant
- basic life support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required
- effective communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced skilled nursing facility setting
Job Duties
- assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility
- implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
- monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes
- educate patients and families on therapy techniques and safety
- collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
- maintain therapy equipment and ensure a safe treatment environment
- adhere to facility policies and regulatory standards
