Job Requirements
- valid physical therapist license
- minimum of 1 year clinical experience in physical therapy
- ability to work 40 hours per week
- availability for day shift work
- reliable transportation to the facility
- willingness to adapt to travel assignment duration
Job Qualifications
- licensed physical therapist in the state of Connecticut
- experience working in skilled nursing facility settings
- strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques and rehabilitation protocols
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
- ability to document patient care thoroughly
- proficiency in patient assessment and treatment planning
Job Duties
- evaluate patients' physical capabilities and limitations
- develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
- administer therapeutic interventions such as exercises and modalities
- monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
- collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
- document treatments and outcomes accurately
- educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes and home exercises
