Job Requirements

  • valid rn license in california
  • minimum of 2 years acute care nursing experience
  • current bls and acls certifications
  • ability to work 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts
  • availability to start as soon as possible
  • willingness to travel and relocate temporarily for the assignment

Job Qualifications

  • registered nurse (rn) licensure in the state of california
  • experience in acute care case management or utilization review
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage multiple cases effectively
  • knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
  • proficiency in electronic medical records and case management software
  • critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Job Duties

  • manage patient case loads to ensure appropriate care coordination
  • conduct utilization reviews for acute care patients
  • communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • maintain accurate and timely documentation of case management activities
  • advocate for patients' needs within clinical and administrative settings
  • ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
