Job Requirements
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Oregon
- Minimum one year of adult respiratory therapy experience
- Current RRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Valid BLS certification
- Social Security Number
- Date of birth verification
- No employment gap exceeding 90 days within the past year
- Willingness to work night shifts for 12 hours
- Ability to commit to a 13-week travel assignment
Job Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
- Licensure as RT in Oregon
- One year of experience in adult respiratory care
- Certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care as RRT
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy best practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Provide respiratory therapy treatments and procedures to adult patients
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust respiratory care as needed
- Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment
- Educate patients and families about respiratory care and treatment protocols
- Document patient information accurately in medical records
- Respond promptly to emergency situations involving respiratory distress
