Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • ability to read, write and speak English language
  • physically capable of standing for long hours
  • pass background check
  • must be able to pass a "Class C" operator certification
  • available to work the third shift from 11 PM to 7 AM

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write and speak English language
  • experience in customer service or retail is preferred
  • good verbal communication skills
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of point of sale equipment is an asset
  • ability to stand for long hours
  • basic math skills for cash handling
  • teamwork and cooperation skills
  • knowledge of stock control and merchandising is a plus

Job Duties

  • Greet every customer in a quick and courteous manner
  • provide a pleasant shopping experience for all customers and respond to customer inquiries in a timely fashion
  • handle all customer complaints according to company policies and procedures
  • develop and maintain product knowledge and provide customers with product recommendations
  • process customer sales accurately and efficiently using point of sale equipment
  • perform till balancing at the start and end of each shift
  • ensure cash drawer levels are maintained in compliance with company policies
  • receive and stock merchandise following company policy and apply the FIFO system
  • remove, record, and place damaged or out of date stock in designated quarantine area
  • maintain store cleanliness including sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning walls, counters, tables, and service equipment
  • maintain full control of the store and its contents using loss prevention techniques
  • follow company policies for securing the premises upon end of day closure
  • work effectively with others in a positive, supportive and cooperative manner
  • communicate any issues or concerns to management promptly
  • perform all duties safely and comply with company safety policies and instructions
  • report unsafe practices or conditions and follow all safety initiatives
