Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Ability to read, write and speak English language
  • Physically capable of standing for long hours
  • Pass background check
  • Must be able to pass a Class C operator certification

Job Qualifications

  • Good product knowledge development
  • Experience with cash handling and point of sale systems

Job Duties

  • Greet every customer in a quick and courteous manner
  • Provide a pleasant shopping experience for all customers and respond to inquiries in a timely fashion
  • Handle customer complaints according to company policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain product knowledge and provide product recommendations
  • Process customer sales accurately and efficiently using point of sale equipment
  • Perform till balancing at the start and end of each shift
  • Receive and stock merchandise following company policy and FIFO system
  • Ensure stock is faced up, clean and presentable
  • Remove and record damaged or out of date stock
  • Maintain store security and follow loss prevention techniques
  • Clean store areas including floors, walls, counters, tables and service equipment
  • Work effectively with team members and assist new associates
  • Comply with occupational health and safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
