Job Requirements
- doctorate degree from an accredited program
- current texas physical therapist license
- basic life support certification
- minimum 2 years of experience
- at least 1 year inpatient rehab experience
- no more than 90 days of gap in work history in the last year
- valid social security number
- date of birth required
- at least 1 professional reference
- ability to float
- travel assignment availability
Job Qualifications
- doctorate degree in physical therapy from an accredited program
- current physical therapist license in Texas (compact accepted)
- basic life support certification (AHA or ARC)
- minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience
- at least 1 year of inpatient rehabilitation experience
- experience with MedHost EMR preferred
Job Duties
- examine patients and develop individualized treatment plans
- apply therapeutic techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain
- work with patients to prevent disability and promote long-term health
- utilize electronic medical records for documentation
- collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate care
- float to different departments as needed
- educate patients on fitness and wellness programs
