Job Requirements
- Active FL or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum of 1 year recent PCU or similar acute care experience
- Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
- Prior experience with Epic EMR required
- Two recent professional references required
- Available for lab work within 72 hours of offer
- Annual flu vaccination required between 10/31 and 3/31 with limited exemptions
- Applicants must not have worked an internal contracted position at Health First within the past year
- Candidates must not have attended specified educational institutions as per employer's requirements
Job Qualifications
- Current FL or compact RN license
- Minimum of 1 year recent PCU or acute care experience
- Proficient with Epic EMR
- Certification in BLS
- Certification in ACLS
- Certification in NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Two recent professional references from a manager, supervisor, charge nurse, or director within the past year
Job Duties
- Provide advanced monitoring and care for progressive care patients
- Administer specialized IV drips including Heparin and Cardizem at a straight rate
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:5 in the PCU setting
- Use Epic EMR proficiently for patient documentation and care coordination
- Float to other units and hospital locations within the Health First system as needed
- Complete facility orientation modules via the LMS system
- Adhere to dress code requiring solid color scrubs without logos or prints
