Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current state paramedic license or NREMT-P willing to apply for Texas reciprocity
  • Current driver’s license with no more than 3 moving violations in 4 years
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Ability to drive large vehicles in normal and adverse conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current state paramedic license or NREMT-P with willingness to apply for Texas reciprocity
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to operate large vehicles safely
  • Experience in pre-hospital advanced life support

Job Duties

  • Provide advanced, intermediate, and basic life support care within licensure limits
  • Perform timely and efficient medical transportation
  • Follow Acadian protocols for patient care
  • Maintain vehicle safety and operate large vehicles under normal and adverse conditions
  • Document patient information accurately
  • Communicate effectively with medical staff and emergency personnel
  • Adhere to all state and local regulations for paramedic operations
