Job Requirements
- Valid Washington state physical therapy license
- Completion of accredited physical therapy program
- Minimum of 1 year orthopedic outpatient experience preferred
- Ability to commit to a 13-week travel assignment
- Availability to work four 10-hour day shifts per week
- Strong physical stamina and manual dexterity
- Reliable transportation and ability to relocate temporarily
- Compliance with all healthcare regulations and immunizations
Job Qualifications
- Licensed physical therapist in Washington state
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and documentation practices
- New graduates with relevant orthopedic clinical experience are welcome
- Basic proficiency in healthcare technology and electronic medical records
Job Duties
- Provide one-on-one physical therapy treatment to outpatient orthopedic patients
- Assess patient physical abilities and develop individualized therapy plans
- Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards
- Educate patients on injury prevention and home exercise programs
