Job Requirements

  • Registered Nurse license in North Carolina
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Minimum one year recent experience in Progressive Care Unit
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Current NIHSS certification
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Minimum of one year recent experience in a Progressive Care Unit
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
  • Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and EMR systems

Job Duties

  • Monitor patients requiring progressive care closely
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
  • Manage cardiac monitoring and telemetry equipment
  • Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems effectively
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient condition
