Job Requirements
- Registered Nurse license in North Carolina
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum one year recent experience in Progressive Care Unit
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of one year recent experience in a Progressive Care Unit
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and EMR systems
Job Duties
- Monitor patients requiring progressive care closely
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
- Manage cardiac monitoring and telemetry equipment
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems effectively
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition
