Job Requirements

  • Registered nurse license
  • Minimum of 1 year operating room nursing experience
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week on day shifts
  • Availability for a 13-week travel assignment starting March 23, 2026
  • Willingness to relocate temporarily to Bridgeport, Connecticut
  • Compliance with healthcare facility policies and procedures
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screening

Job Qualifications

  • Valid RN license
  • Previous experience in operating room nursing
  • Knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations
  • Good organizational skills
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality care

Job Duties

  • Assist surgical teams with operating room preparation and patient setup
  • Maintain sterile fields and surgical instruments
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes during surgery
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols
  • Provide patient education and post-operative care instructions
  • Document surgical information accurately and timely
