Job Requirements
- Registered nurse license
- Minimum of 1 year operating room nursing experience
- Ability to work 40 hours per week on day shifts
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment starting March 23, 2026
- Willingness to relocate temporarily to Bridgeport, Connecticut
- Compliance with healthcare facility policies and procedures
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
Job Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- Previous experience in operating room nursing
- Knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations
- Good organizational skills
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
Job Duties
- Assist surgical teams with operating room preparation and patient setup
- Maintain sterile fields and surgical instruments
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes during surgery
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols
- Provide patient education and post-operative care instructions
- Document surgical information accurately and timely
