Job Requirements
- Active RN license in one of the 50 US states
- 1-2 years recent experience in CVICU or related cardiac nursing
- Ability to work 48 hours per week including night shifts
- Availability for a 13-week travel nursing assignment starting 03/16/2026
- Additional certifications as requested by facility
- Willingness to travel and adapt to new clinical environments
- Enthusiastic and adventurous spirit with a desire to help
Job Qualifications
- Active RN license in one of the 50 US states
- 1-2 years recent experience in CVICU or relevant cardiac critical care
- Strong knowledge of cardiac care protocols and ICU practices
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to travel nursing assignments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred
Job Duties
- Provide specialized nursing care to CVICU patients with life-threatening cardiac conditions
- Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms continuously
- Administer medications and advanced cardiac therapies as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team for patient treatment plans
- Document patient care and progress accurately
- Respond swiftly to emergencies and cardiac events
- Educate patients and families about cardiac care and recovery processes
