Job Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 5+ years of hands-on clinical experience in primary care, family care, internal medicine, urgent care or ER as a medical assistant
- Graduated from accredited vocational MA program with MA certificate/diploma or military equivalent
- Valid national certification from associations NHA, AAMA, NAHP, AMT, or NCCT
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification or higher
- Technology driven medical data entry system experience or related computer data entry
- Current use and proficiency in manual vitals, EKGs, blood draws, and venipuncture
- Permanent residency in KS and within 50 miles of a major US airport
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License and ability/willingness to drive between work locations
- Ability to pass medical clearance including N95 respirator fit test, proper use of respiratory protective equipment, Tuberculosis test, Hepatitis A/B vaccine series or titer test, and other medical clearances/vaccinations

- Graduated from accredited vocational MA program with MA certificate/diploma or military equivalent (Medic/Hospital Corpsman)
- Valid national certification from one of the following associations: National Health Career (NHA), American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP), American Medical Technologist (AMT), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification or higher
- Technology driven medical data entry system experience or related computer data entry
- Current use and proficiency in manual vitals, EKGs, blood draws, and venipuncture
Job Duties
- Performs routine procedures to obtain claimant’s medical history, record vital signs and complete lab requisitions
- Performs standard diagnostic procedures accurately, efficiently, and with the highest quality including 12-lead electrocardiograms, proficient venipuncture, preparation of lab specimens for laboratory courier, pulmonary function test (PFTs), arterial flow Doppler studies, and other clinical diagnostic studies
- Performs housekeeping functions such as changing exam room table paper and upkeep of cleanliness of the entire office ensuring all equipment is clean and presentable
- Chaperones during examinations as required
- Assists with translation of questionnaire forms or during evaluation if fluent in other languages
- Responsible for front office duties such as answering telephones, preparing schedules and confirming appointments, data entry, filing and inventory including set-up of workstations and computers, troubleshooting computer/internet issues and coordinating with shipping vendors
- Reviews and edits reports for accuracy prior to submission to physicians
- Assists in the retrieval of diagnostic tests for scanning
- Partners with operational teams and assists in provisioning medical records
- Works with providers and operational teams to ensure reports are submitted timely and accurately
- Assists in the preparation and delivery of reports for all lines of business
- Responsible for administrative duties on-site including completion of expense reports in a timely manner
- Other duties as assigned
