Job Requirements

  • Current license to practice nursing in Kansas
  • minimum of one year of experience in labor and delivery nursing
  • certification in basic life support (BLS)
  • excellent interpersonal skills including patience, empathy, and compassion
  • effective communication skills involving active listening, writing, speaking, and reading
  • ability to stand for long durations
  • willingness to work 12-hour night shifts
  • availability to start ASAP

  • fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities

Job Duties

  • Provide compassionate nursing care to labor and delivery patients
  • monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor
  • assist with childbirth and postnatal care
  • communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • document patient care and clinical information accurately
  • respond to emergencies and complications promptly
  • collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
