Job Requirements

  • Minimum of three years luxury hotel sales experience preferred or three to five years of operational hotel experience
  • Proven sales track record a plus
  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English
  • Computer skills and knowledge including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Golden Sales & Catering, IDeaS, TravelClick, and Opera
  • Open availability is required
  • Ability to make independent judgments and decisions

Job Duties

  • Generate business through prospecting and securing non-negotiated transient business on behalf of the hotel
  • Solicit and secure business from key travel industry sources
  • Create resort awareness through direct sales and digital solicitation
  • Conduct direct in-person sales calls, attend tradeshows, and engage in networking
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to meet budgeted sales goals
  • Ensure quotas and goals are met focusing on maximizing RevPar
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in decision-making
