Job Requirements

  • Minimum GED or high school diploma
  • At least 1 year of experience traveling with unaccompanied children
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and program policies
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Valid Texas driver’s license with excellent driving record
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid
  • Ability to operate a 15-passenger van
  • Willingness to complete required training including Handle with Care and TBRI
  • Ability to manage program software
  • Flexibility to work on-call schedule

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum GED or high school diploma
  • Minimum of at least 1 year of travel experience with unaccompanied children (UAC)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, employee guidebook, program policies
  • Able to speak English and Spanish
  • Valid Texas driver’s license with an excellent driving record
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Ability to operate up to a 15-passenger transit van
  • Willingness to receive required training and certification for Handle with Care, Trauma-Informed Care (TBRI), program software, and other DFPS mandated trainings

Job Duties

  • Supervise and support children in your care during travel, including airports and flights
  • Ensure all program policies and procedures are followed at all times
  • Adapt to an on-call schedule based on program needs
  • Maintain frequent communication with your department lead regarding reunification status
  • Act with professionalism, responsibility, and compassion while representing CPLC
  • Support additional program needs as assigned
