Job Requirements

  • Active WA state or compact RN license required
  • Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
  • RQI certifications are not accepted
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
  • Social Security number required for consideration
  • Date of birth required for consideration
  • Candidate must live more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Job Qualifications

  • Active Washington state or compact RN license
  • Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Emergency Department nursing
  • Familiarity with Paragon EHR system recommended
  • Ability to work night shifts and weekends
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements

Job Duties

  • Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department of a 111-bed teaching hospital
  • Monitor and assess pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Manage a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio in a 25-bed ED
  • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across hospital services
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Paragon EHR system
  • Adhere to hospital policies including working two weekends per month and no on-call duties
