Job Requirements
- Active WA state or compact RN license required
- Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
- RQI certifications are not accepted
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
- Social Security number required for consideration
- Date of birth required for consideration
- Candidate must live more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
Job Qualifications
- Active Washington state or compact RN license
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Emergency Department nursing
- Familiarity with Paragon EHR system recommended
- Ability to work night shifts and weekends
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements
Job Duties
- Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department of a 111-bed teaching hospital
- Monitor and assess pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Manage a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio in a 25-bed ED
- Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across hospital services
- Maintain accurate patient records using Paragon EHR system
- Adhere to hospital policies including working two weekends per month and no on-call duties
