Job Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required
  • Experience in trauma care and strong knowledge of pediatric patient population required
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
  • ENPC preferred
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration

Job Qualifications

  • Active CA RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience
  • Experience in trauma care and strong knowledge of pediatric patient population
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
  • ENPC preferred
  • Ability to work night shifts and flexible start times
  • Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills

Job Duties

  • Work in a 31-bed Emergency Department at a Level 3 Trauma Center, STEMI and Stroke receiving center
  • Department includes 5 resuscitation bays with an average daily volume of 100+ patients, approximately 15% of whom are pediatric
  • Night shift position with varying start times (1300, 1500, or 1900), all 12-hour shifts
  • Primary night shift hours are 1900–0730
  • 13-week contract
  • Provide emergency nursing care across a high-volume, mixed adult and pediatric trauma department
  • ENPC certification is preferred but not required
  • COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
