Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years cooking experience
  • ability to work flexible hours including overtime
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods
  • willingness to travel extensively
  • good knife handling skills
  • ability to live in shared employee housing

  • banquet experience

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
  • follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • help with catering events and special functions as needed
  • maintain inventory of food supplies and equipment
  • set up, stock, and break down assigned stations
  • use knowledge of common allergies and dietary restrictions to ensure food safety for guests when noted on tickets
