Job Requirements
- Must have RHF (fluoro) certification
- Associates degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist in California required
- Advanced Certification in CT preferred
- BLS required
- Fluoroscopy license preferred
- Venipuncture certification preferred
Job Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT)) or equivalent
- Radiologic technologist licensed in the state of California
- Associates degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
- Advanced certification in CT modality preferred
- BLS certification required
- Fluoroscopy license preferred
- Venipuncture certification preferred
- ARRT-Radiography or ARRT-Computed Tomography required
Job Duties
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs and tissue
- Perform general radiography and fluoroscopy imaging procedures
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients ranging from adolescence through geriatric
- Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
- Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images correctly
- Maintain accurate records, files and billing information
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory
