Job Requirements

  • must be a US citizen
  • must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree preferably in business from an accredited university
  • willingness to support the Contracts team in entry-level projects
  • experience working effectively in a team environment
  • strong written and oral communication skills
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • ability to pay impeccable attention to detail and juggle multiple tasks

Job Duties

  • knowing and understanding the AMS Travel Policy and helping employees adhere to travel rules and regulations
  • setting up new employee traveler profiles and performing administrative functions within the Travel Agency platform
  • processing Travel Authorization Requests (TARs) and assisting employees with pre-travel arrangements
  • coordinating with the Travel Agency to book and secure travel plans
  • collaborating with technical teams, management, and analysts to secure travel approvals
  • assisting employees in processing and reviewing Expense Reports for accuracy and compliance with AMS Travel Policy and Federal Travel Regulations (FTR)
  • maintaining a basic knowledge of Government Per Diem, FTR, and Joint Travel Regulations (JTR)
  • problem solving travel issues as they arise
