Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in travel counseling or similar role
- proficiency with Sabre GDS
- strong understanding of business travel processes
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
- ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- US work authorization

- Passion for excellence in client service with proactive anticipation of needs
- native expertise in Sabre GDS
- keen international travel knowledge
- phone and email servicing experience
- professional communication skills both written and verbal
- strong attention to detail
- integrity in handling personal traveler information
- solid understanding of the travel industry from business or leisure travel or airline reservations
- ability to resolve customer issues quickly and independently or with supplier support
- teamwork skills and openness to feedback
Job Duties
- Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers both individuals and groups
- conduct analysis and research on travel options and pro-actively anticipate traveler needs to sell additional services
- arrange and book domestic and international business travel including air, road, rail, and accommodations
- maintain knowledge and expertise in GDS especially Sabre
- ensure compliance with customers' travel policies and regulatory requirements
- use positive telephone service techniques and handle special customer requests
- collaborate within the team to coach, mentor, and provide feedback to improve service levels
