Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass comprehensive criminal background check
- Ability to pass thorough urine drug screening
- Minimum 2 years of retail sales or banking experience preferred
- Availability to work weekends and some evenings
- Ability to complete travel for training purposes
- Strong sales orientation and customer service focus
- Proficiency with multiple computer systems and software
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma required, 2- or 4-year college degree preferred
- At least 2 years of successful retail sales or banking experience or leisure travel agency background preferred
- Passion for travel beyond a hobby or wish
- Ability to work most Saturdays and some evenings
- Successful completion of Travel Consultant Trainee program
- Sales-driven and goal-oriented
- Proficient in computer systems, Microsoft Office, and typing at least 30WPM
- Strong organizational skills and comfortable handling paperwork
Job Duties
- Sell international and domestic travel packages including cruises, land packages, travel itineraries, air, car, and hotel
- Share knowledge and expertise from personal experiences and education study trips
- Develop long standing relationships with members and build referral and repeat business
- Make appropriate recommendations to tailor the trip experience to members expectations
- Cross sell relevant products such as AAA Member Rewards Credit Card and identity theft protection
- Participate in training programs and complete evaluations to support career growth
- Meet and exceed established sales goals and production tiers
