Job Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Prefer 2 or 4 year college degree
- Ability to pass comprehensive criminal background check
- Ability to pass thorough urine sample drug screening
- At least 2 years of successful retail sales or banking experience or leisure travel agency background preferred
- Availability to work most Saturdays and some evenings
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and multiple program navigation
- Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute
- Good communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Bilingual English and Hindi preferred
Job Qualifications
- Passion for travel beyond hobby or wish
- Availability to work most Saturdays and some evenings
- Successful completion of Travel Consultant Trainee program including travel for training
- Strong sales drive and goal orientation
- Proficiency in navigating multiple computer systems, web browsers, Microsoft Office and typing at least 30 words per minute
- Highly organized and comfortable working with paperwork
- High school diploma required, 2 or 4 year college degree preferred
- Prefer at least 2 years of retail sales, banking experience or leisure travel agency background
- Bilingual in English and Hindi preferred
Job Duties
- Sell international and domestic travel packages including cruises, land packages, travel itineraries, air, car, and hotel
- Share knowledge and expertise from personal experiences and/or education study trips
- Develop long-standing relationships with members and build referral and repeat business
- Make appropriate recommendations to ensure the trip experience exceeds member expectations and is tailored to their needs
- Cross-sell relevant products to enhance the trip experience such as AAA Member Rewards Credit Card and identity theft referrals
- Participate in evaluations to determine proficiency in sales, customer service, administrative, operations, up-selling, cross-selling and meeting goals
- Engage in training and career development opportunities through Auto Club University
