Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of current work experience providing in COTA
- Texas State Healthcare Provider license or willing to obtain one
- Ability to comply with healthcare policies and maintain patient confidentiality
- Willingness to travel and work in various healthcare settings
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Ability to follow supervision and implement treatment plans
- Good physical stamina to perform therapy activities
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year current work experience providing as a certified occupational therapy assistant (COTA)
- Valid Texas State Healthcare Provider license or willingness to obtain one
- Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and patient care principles
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Certification in basic life support (BLS) preferred
Job Duties
- Assist with therapeutic activities that support patients in developing and maintaining daily living and work skills
- Document patient progress and treatment responses accurately
- Contribute to care team discussions to enhance patient outcomes
- Implement treatment plans under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Prepare and organize necessary equipment for therapy sessions
