Job Requirements
- Current Texas nursing license
- Minimum of associate degree in nursing
- Prior experience in cardiovascular intensive care nursing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Availability to work 12-hour day shifts
- Willingness to start ASAP
Job Qualifications
- Current Texas nursing license
- Proven experience in a CVICU or critical care setting
- Excellent interpersonal skills including patience, empathy, and compassion
- Strong communication skills including active listening, writing, speaking, and reading comprehension
- Adaptable and quick problem-solving abilities
- Physical stamina to stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts
Job Duties
- Provide specialized nursing care for patients in the cardiovascular intensive care unit
- Monitor and assess patient condition continuously
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
