Job Requirements

  • Current Texas nursing license
  • Minimum of associate degree in nursing
  • Prior experience in cardiovascular intensive care nursing
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Availability to work 12-hour day shifts
  • Willingness to start ASAP

Job Qualifications

  • Current Texas nursing license
  • Proven experience in a CVICU or critical care setting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including patience, empathy, and compassion
  • Strong communication skills including active listening, writing, speaking, and reading comprehension
  • Adaptable and quick problem-solving abilities
  • Physical stamina to stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to work 12-hour day shifts

Job Duties

  • Provide specialized nursing care for patients in the cardiovascular intensive care unit
  • Monitor and assess patient condition continuously
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments according to protocols
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development
