Job Requirements
- Three years emergency department nursing experience in a Level I or II Trauma Center
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to interact with a diverse population
- Strong teamwork and collaborative skills
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Understanding of Incident Command System and Critical Incident Debriefing
- Registered Nurse in the State of Oregon
- Current Oregon RN license
- Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- AHA ACLS, PALS & BLS certifications

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Oregon RN license
- Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- AHA ACLS, PALS & BLS certifications
- Knowledge of trauma registry and data abstraction
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with trauma quality improvement processes
Job Duties
- Serve as trauma program representative and primary contact for the trauma registry
- Perform chart reviews and participate in trauma team performance evaluations
- Collaborate with hospital departments to ensure process improvement and loop closure
- Compile and distribute accurate reports for clinical quality measurement
- Coordinate and verify clinical data to support trauma quality initiatives
- Prepare and submit trauma data to state and national registries
- Participate in relevant boards, committees, and meetings to support ongoing trauma program development
