Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or nursing diploma
- Registered Nurse license in Arkansas or Compact state
- Four years of nursing experience
- Current user of medical marijuana prohibited
- Flu vaccine required

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent
- Registered Nurse license in Arkansas or Compact state
- Four years of nursing experience
- Knowledge of trauma systems and patient care
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with trauma data management and quality assurance
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Recommended master's degree in nursing
- Recommended certifications such as CCM, CEN, CPEN, RN-BC, CCNS-N, RNC-NIC, NNP-BC, NE-BC, NPD-BC, or TCRN
Job Duties
- Remain current in trauma patient populations research
- Provide clinical expertise and collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
- Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes for continuity of care
- Facilitate implementation of Trauma Performance Improvement Patient Safety and Trauma Peer Review process
- Provide feedback and request data from EMS and referring hospitals
- Check daily census for potential trauma patients and notify departments
- Organize and enter injury data into the trauma registry
- Abstract data for all trauma patients ensuring compliance with health department and national data set
- Perform quality assurance and data validation assessments
- Generate reports for burn, trauma and injury prevention units
- Perform other assigned duties
