Job Requirements
- Some high school education or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Possession or ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License within 360 days of hire
- Ability to legally operate CDL vehicles with manual or automatic transmissions
- Willingness to pass pre-employment drug testing
- Ability to wear safety toe footwear
- Capacity to work extended hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work in extreme weather and hazardous highway environments
Job Qualifications
- High school education or General Educational Development diploma
- Experience operating power and hand tools
- Ability to perform manual labor
- Experience in road maintenance or construction preferred
- Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles
- Knowledge of workplace safety protocols
- Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions
Job Duties
- Operate standard hand tools and power equipment for road maintenance and construction
- Inspect work zones and ensure safety compliance
- Participate in snow and ice removal operations
- Assist paint crews and erect road signs
- Support Electronics Technicians with signal maintenance and installation
- Perform vegetation control and debris removal
- Operate heavy equipment including dump trucks, rollers, and tractors with attachments
