Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 2 years driving experience with a commercial vehicle
- valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
- capability to perform repetitive motions including sitting, walking, bending, stooping, and handling packages
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- strong commitment to safety protocols
- ability to interact professionally with customers and team members
- physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment
- adherence to health and safety guidelines including wearing personal protective equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 2 years of experience driving a commercial vehicle, preferably in a similar role
- valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- proficient in operating and maneuvering commercial vehicles safely
- excellent time management skills
- strong attention to detail
- ability to maintain accurate and detailed logs and reports
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- competence in using GPS and navigation tools
- basic computer skills for maintaining records
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and routes
Job Duties
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport goods between the distribution center and grocery stores
- adhere to all federal, state, and local driving regulations as well as company policies and procedures
- conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues or concerns to the maintenance team
- assist with the loading and unloading of goods using appropriate equipment, ensuring all items are handled safely and securely
- accurately maintain driver logs, trip reports, and other necessary documentation
- provide excellent customer service when interacting with store personnel and other company representatives
- follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- perform other duties as assigned
