Job Duties

  • Provide drivers with updated instructions, addresses, and appointment times
  • track ETAs, delays, breakdowns, and HOS considerations
  • help drivers resolve road issues quickly and professionally
  • confirm pickup and delivery appointments
  • track loads and provide real-time updates to brokers or shippers
  • verify BOLs, PODs, and ensure the freight matches the bill
  • estimate realistic load and unload times
  • prevent overscheduling and tight back-to-back appointment windows
  • upload all paperwork into the TMS
  • track detention, layover, and TONU opportunities
  • keep clean, accurate load notes
  • send check calls and status updates
  • notify brokers of changes or delays
  • maintain positive, professional relationships with shippers and brokers
