Job Requirements

  • Must hold current state driver's license (CDL) with no encumbrances
  • minimum of 2 years supervisory experience preferred
  • must be 21 years old or older
  • must be computer efficient and able to work effectively with Life-Loop software
  • must have CPR certification or be willing to get certified within 90 days

Job Duties

  • Supervise drivers and valet
  • maintain all transportation logs
  • coordinate and schedule all transportation requests for Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Health Center residents
  • work with activity coordinators, social workers, clinics and other personnel to arrange transportation for activities and health-related appointments
  • maintain ethical and legal standards in communication
  • act as a backup driver when necessary
  • take labs to appropriate clinic when drivers are on runs
  • maintain first aid kits for each bus to comply with Social Services and Department of Health regulations
  • maintain all inspections, maintenance records and invoices for Resident Services and Marketing vehicles
  • schedule all routine maintenance per vehicle service guidelines
  • maintain CDL, CPR and other driver’s license records for each driver
  • review daily logs for all drivers and discuss any concerns with the Life Enrichment Director
  • assess non-ambulatory needs when determining adequate mode of transportation
  • maintain records of competencies, in-services, and education attendance per regulatory requirements
  • be computer competent and able to work with different types of office equipment
  • consistently present a professional appearance
  • report for work on time as scheduled
  • maintain updated state driver’s license with appropriate endorsement
  • maintain current CPR certification
  • be knowledgeable of Trezevant’s Mission, vision and values
  • perform other duties as assigned or required
