Job Requirements
- must be a US citizen and 18 years of age
- possess a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
- excellent communication skills with proficiency in English
- ability to operate security equipment at screening checkpoints including pat-downs and bag searches
- attention to detail and interpersonal skills with reliable work values
- ability to successfully complete required computer based training (CBT)
- ability to pass medical screening including hearing and vision screening with 20/20 corrected vision, color test, blood pressure, agility and standard drug screening
- ability to obtain a successful background investigation including criminal and credit checks
- criminal and credit checks disqualify candidates with over $7500 debt in collections, delinquent federal or state taxes, past due child support payments, delinquent payments on federal student loans, or current parole status
- availability for part-time shifts of 5 consecutive 6-hour days per week with varying schedules depending on airport operations

Job Duties
- operating various passenger screening equipment
- communicating and performing searches of passengers as needed
- making effective and quick decisions in both routine and crisis situations while maintaining focus and attention to detail
- maintaining knowledge of standard operating procedures and following verbal and written instructions
- collaborating with airport security and other relevant personnel to ensure compliance with safety regulations
