Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or similar
- Licensed professional engineer in Alaska
- Minimum 10 years of technical design experience
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience
- Experience in design/build or alternative project delivery preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead diverse teams
- Established and willing to build client relationships
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Blue Beam
- Knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D and GIS a plus
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in civil engineering or similar

- Over 10 years of technical design experience in civil projects
- More than 5 years of supervisory experience leading technical teams
- Experience with design/build or alternative project delivery methods is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Established client relationships and business development experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat and Blue Beam
- Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and GIS applications is a plus
Job Duties
- Develop and maintain scope, schedule and budgets for civil projects
- Directly oversee project delivery from design development to bid-ready plans and construction support
- Serve as lead civil engineer on design projects including calculations, modeling and design decisions
- Ensure quality control processes are followed
- Lead multi-discipline project teams and provide staff training and mentorship
- Assist in business development including identifying new opportunities, proposal production and client relationship management
