Job Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Three or more years of relevant program or project management experience
  • Strong commitment to diversity equity and inclusion
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Familiarity with vehicle and roadway laws and ordinances
  • Washington State Driver's License
  • Current Adult and Children CPR First Aid and AED Certification or willingness to obtain after hire
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Pass two separate background screenings
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize
  • Detail oriented and highly organized

  • Detail oriented with a high level of organization and accuracy

Job Duties

  • Manage all aspects of transportation operations including vehicle maintenance and driver management
  • Manage a fleet of approximately 20 vehicles including buses vans and trailers
  • Manage and monitor the transportation budget including fuel maintenance vehicle procurement and vendor contracts
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards and serve as point of contact for transportation-related incidents
  • Implement school transportation policies and administer driver training programs
  • Manage fleet inspections ongoing maintenance and vehicle records
  • Coordinate traffic and parking on and near campus especially during drop-off pick-up and school events
  • Design and maintain transportation record systems and handle transportation inquiries Complaints and communications
  • Collect and analyze data to improve transportation programs and prepare annual reports
  • Lead development and implementation of long-term transportation and parking plans
  • Provide on-call emergency transportation support
  • Perform other duties as assigned
