Job Requirements
- 5 plus years of experience in engineering or landside planning
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering planning or related field
- PE or AICP certification preferred
- Proficiency in graphic software such as Adobe Photoshop Sketchup InDesign Illustrator
- Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcView
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to meet client deadlines
- Must be available to work on-site in Fort Lauderdale Florida
Job Qualifications
- 5 plus years of work experience in a related field
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in a relevant field
- PE or AICP Certification preferred
- Strong writing and verbal skills
- Working knowledge of graphic software programs including Adobe Photoshop Sketchup InDesign and Illustrator
- Working knowledge of GIS ArcView
- Excellent verbal written and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
- Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
- Ability to work independently and as a team
Job Duties
- Contribute to the production and delivery of multi-modal transportation systems planning including data collection analysis and technical reporting
- Support all steps of a transportation planning project including initial data gathering and needs identification goals setting and visioning development of recommended strategies and design concepts prioritization and cost estimating development of technical and public-facing documentation and presentations
