Job Requirements

  • 5 plus years of experience in engineering or landside planning
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering planning or related field
  • PE or AICP certification preferred
  • Proficiency in graphic software such as Adobe Photoshop Sketchup InDesign Illustrator
  • Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcView
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to meet client deadlines
  • Must be available to work on-site in Fort Lauderdale Florida

Job Qualifications

  • 5 plus years of work experience in a related field
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in a relevant field
  • PE or AICP Certification preferred
  • Strong writing and verbal skills
  • Working knowledge of graphic software programs including Adobe Photoshop Sketchup InDesign and Illustrator
  • Working knowledge of GIS ArcView
  • Excellent verbal written and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and a strong work ethic
  • Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
  • Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
  • Ability to work independently and as a team

Job Duties

  • Contribute to the production and delivery of multi-modal transportation systems planning including data collection analysis and technical reporting
  • Support all steps of a transportation planning project including initial data gathering and needs identification goals setting and visioning development of recommended strategies and design concepts prioritization and cost estimating development of technical and public-facing documentation and presentations
