Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in engineering or landside planning
- Bachelors or masters degree in a relevant field
- Preferred PE or AICP certification
- Proficient in graphic software programs including Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator
- Familiarity with GIS and ArcView
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently or collaboratively
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years of work experience in a related field
- Bachelors or masters degree in a relevant field
- PE or AICP certification preferred
- Strong writing and verbal skills
- Working knowledge of graphic software programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator
- Working knowledge of GIS/ArcView
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
- Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
- Ability to work independently and as a team
Job Duties
- Contribute to the production and delivery of multi-modal transportation systems planning, including data collection, analysis, and technical reporting
- Support all steps of a transportation planning project, including initial data gathering and needs identification
- Assist in goals setting and visioning
- Develop recommended strategies and design concepts
- Participate in prioritization and cost estimating
- Prepare technical and public-facing documentation and presentations
- Collaborate with project managers and team members on general planning tasks
