Job Requirements
- Must be a United States citizen
- Must possess a High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Minimum one year experience as law enforcement officer, military policeman, or six months as security officer related to detainees
- Clear criminal history with no felonies or Class A misdemeanors
- Must have and maintain current Class B Commercial Driver's License with passenger and air brake endorsements or Class A with passenger endorsement
- Must have and maintain valid Texas State Level 3 - Armed Guard permit
- Must pass background investigation and obtain security clearance
- Ability to write clearly and concisely with proper grammar and spelling
- Able to communicate effectively in English
- Able to follow verbal and written orders
- Must meet physical demands including perception of sounds, visual acuity, physical mobility and strength
- Ability to adapt to temperature changes including extreme heat
Job Qualifications

- Capacity to understand and apply verbal and written orders and regulations
Job Duties
- Provide overall security, remain with and guard detainees until given further instructions by the Shift Supervisor
- Ensure weapon and ammunition are safeguarded at all times
- Wear approved duty uniform and carry pistol in side arm holster while performing duties
- Carry all credentials and wear company provided body armor
- Escort detainees to and from inbound/outbound flights with minimal public contact and verify departures
- Operate company vehicle to transport detainees following Performance-Based National Detention Standards
- Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections and maintain mileage logs with accurate reporting
