Job Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with 5 years related experience and/or training
  • Ability to manage transportation logistics and personnel
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills
  • Ability to implement and maintain safety protocols and audits
  • Must be able to obtain necessary security clearances including passport authority and U.S. Customs & Border Protection background check
  • Must be willing to work flexible schedules including varying shifts
  • Ability to work in demanding physical environments and inclement weather
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • Five years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Effective communication skills for speaking before groups of customers or employees
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to obtain passport authority and pass U.S. Customs & Border Protection background check
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule
  • Ability to work closely with customers in a fast-paced environment
  • Capability to work in inclement weather including windy, rainy, snowy, or excessively hot conditions

Job Duties

  • Manage transportation movements between the facility and airfield according to customer and operational requirements
  • Ensure adherence to all SOPs, safety guidelines, and internal quality assurance programs during catering transport
  • Manage a team of dispatchers coordinating truck movements, verifying timings, and advising on delays and special operations
  • Maintain the fleet of catering trucks and vehicles for performance, appearance, and operational readiness
  • Schedule drivers and dispatchers to ensure proper coverage, including days off and minimum rest periods
  • Implement and maintain safety audit programs with root cause analysis and corrective action plans
  • Collaborate with other departments to support smooth operations and customer satisfaction
