Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 25 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum one year experience in guest services and/or public dealing
  • Ability to operate manual and automatic vehicles
  • Must possess and maintain valid unrestricted New Mexico Driver's License
  • Class B CDL with passenger endorsement preferred
  • Must pass a stringent background investigation
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
  • Ability to perform physical activities including lifting up to 50 lbs, crouching, balancing
  • Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions
  • Ability to comply with attendance policy and punctuality standards
  • Willingness to adhere to safety standards and operational procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • One year of experience in guest services or dealing with the general public
  • Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles
  • Knowledge of vehicle operation and air brakes
  • Knowledge of Albuquerque streets, roads, airports and surrounding areas
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Knowledge of safety practices related to vehicle operation
  • Ability to drive in adverse weather conditions
  • Ability to maintain and update proper certifications
  • Ability to respond to public inquiries
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Deliver the highest level of service while interacting with guests, peers and other Sandia employees
  • Travel to assigned destinations transporting guests to and from the casino, resort, airport and other approved destinations
  • Complete pre-inspection and document vehicle condition prior to departure
  • Communicate and acknowledge all information provided by dispatcher
  • Follow department standard operational procedures
  • Comply with all traffic regulations
  • Assist passengers and their baggage, including loading and unloading
  • Report delays, traffic citations, incidents and accidents
  • Advise passengers on safety requirements while traveling
  • Regulate heating, lighting and ventilating systems for passenger comfort
  • Make minor repairs or change tires if needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicles at all times
  • Build professional relationships with internal and external contacts maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Maintain punctual and regular attendance as per assigned schedule
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
  • Serve as initial point of contact for guest inquiries
  • Demonstrate empathy and resolve guest issues timely
  • Possess knowledge of all products and services offered
  • Build relationships with guests based on respect and confidence
