Job Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited high school or obtained an equivalent qualification
- At least five years of work experience in customer service or administrative roles
- At least five years of experience in transportation-related programs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Pass a criminal background check
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Comfortable using power tools including saws, welders, and grinders
- Available to work Monday through Friday 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Willingness to work occasional weekends, holidays, and overtime, including specific shifts for home football games and Thanksgiving
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship
Job Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited high school or equivalent
- Minimum five years of experience in customer service or administrative roles
- Minimum five years experience in transportation-related programs
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Self-managed and able to work independently
- Collaborative team player
- Passion for supporting transportation and sustainability initiatives
- Valid Texas driver's license with the ability to drive vehicles including carts and vans
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
- Experience in bicycle mechanics and use of power tools preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
- Ability to enforce rules and policies with a positive attitude
Job Duties
- Help with the supervision of the Transportation student workers including PTS Pickup and Orange Bike Project
- Prepare, maintain, and update transportation-related reports and logs
- Read and answer departmental correspondence
- Collect and compile information using various database programs
- Perform research, data entry, and retrieval
- Prioritize tasks and perform accordingly
- Handle routine administrative tasks such as bike lock cuts and impounds, bike locker and permit sales, bike storage access, Kickstand sales, bike rack placement and removal, fixing bicycle pumps, managing scooter parking and impounds, enforcing policies and regulations
- Use power tools including saws, welders, and grinders
- Lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Work occasional weekends, holidays, and overtime including home football games and Thanksgiving week
- Perform other related functions as assigned
