Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • less than 1 year relevant work experience
  • licensure as Emergency Medical Technician Basic or equivalent
  • ability to communicate efficiently and courteously in emergencies
  • proficiency with advanced communication systems
  • availability to work 12-hour shifts from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am or 6:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • capability to work under pressure
  • commitment to upholding safety and regulatory standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • relevant work experience less than 1 year
  • licensure as Emergency Medical Technician Basic or other licensure
  • demonstrates intermediate listening skills
  • ability to make multiple decisions simultaneously
  • basic proficiency in emergency management
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Performs and documents safe, efficient and accurate flight coordination
  • understands the operations and applications of all communication equipment
  • communicates information and emergency notification to customers in an efficient, concise and courteous manner
  • works with advanced communication systems
  • practices continuous professional development and excellent customer service
  • provides proactive operational support of the department
  • may perform additional duties as assigned
