Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in healthcare or hospital environment preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Positive and pleasant attitude
- Ability to prioritize daily tasks
- Ability to multitask under stress
- Ability to follow instructions in English
- Completion of biohazard and CPR training within 90 days
- Compliance with relevant policies and codes of conduct
- Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation
- Ability to safely lift and transfer equipment and patients
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods
- Flexibility to work holidays
- Ability to handle emergency and crisis situations
- Use of personal protective equipment when necessary

Job Duties
- Transport patients using wheelchair, stretcher, hospital bed, and morgue cart to various hospital locations
- Transfer patients safely using assistive devices such as Hovermatts, Slipps, slider boards and backboards
- Transport medical equipment, mail, labs, blood products and supplies within hospital departments
- Operate elevators for patient and equipment movement and relieve elevator attendants for breaks
- Clean and disinfect transportation medical equipment including stretchers, wheelchairs, morgue carts, HoverMatts, pillows and utility transport carts
- Complete all duties in compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
